While attending college, I met my husband, Steve. We have been married for 22 years and have 4 amazing kids. I enjoy warm sunshine, Taco Bell, Pepsi, and TV detective shows. They make it look so easy!! I am in a bowling league, but please don’t ask my average as it is very sad. My passion lies in creating things-whether it be sewing a Halloween costume, or building a coffee table-I love the process of taking raw materials and turning them into something beautiful. This spills over into the home building/renovating process. Selecting paint, flooring, countertops, etc., and bringing them all together to create a stunning home is exhilarating. I currently attend Boise State University and am working toward a degree in Construction Management. I am an avid runner and was all-state three times in track and field and ran collegiality on scholarship. I enjoy everything outdoors, such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping and skiing. I love Idaho because of all the great outdoor activities that I can do here. I love to work hard and have a good time with the people around me. I’m a lover of weight lifting, God and the great outdoors. Growing up with my grandparents, previous owners of Pueblo Tile for 31 years, I helped them set tile and quickly developed a love for customizing homes and beautiful floors! I’ve always found it to be a fun experience and am happy to help keep it that way here at Capell Flooring.

I am married to my wife Nicole and have two daughters, Amber and Aubrey. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and one of my favorite things to do is spend time with them, whether it's running, playing basketball, or cheering on Boise State Football.

Hi, I’m Shawna Capell. I’m a native Boisean, moved out of state for almost 20 years, and returned to Idaho in 2008. The much younger me worked at a desk staring at a computer, but I took a great deal of time off to raise five children, which has been the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Now the kids are grown, and I’m back in the office. I enjoy working with the crew here at Capell Flooring and Interiors and have especially enjoyed getting outside the office to meet new customers. I love planning play dates with my grandchildren, working with Cub Scouts, directing the church choir, making desserts, beach-combing, hiking in the mountains, and camping in the woods.

Hi, I’m Annette Hutcheson. I have always loved design and helping people bring their dreams and ideas to life. A paralegal by education, I have been training and working in different interior design elements for more than ten years and love every minute of it. I have a wonderful husband of 30 years and four grown children who support me in all I do. I love to hike, (slow-water) kayak, bake and sew in my “free-time.”
